I stood today and wondered why do I spend my time on the Internet. Bottom line is: because I enjoy it. Here is something of what I do on the internet and why:
- I don’t watch TV anymore because I can watch whatever I want on the internet by web TV. Besides, the news is always commented on some blog or forum, so I get different objective and also subjective opinions.
- I am browsing randomly to find interesting stuff, in fields that I am not interested normally. This helps when I socialize with people in the real world, because I always have something to talk even if the person I’m talking does not share same passions as me.
- I am searching new ways of increasing my blog traffic by finding natural ways of doing this (also called SEO, or Search Engine Optimization or trough social bookmarking).
-I’m reading my e-mail and writing e-mails to stay in touch with my friends.
-I’m trying to make some spare money trough internet money making techniques.
This way I never get bored, always learning something new, always staying in touch with the news and what is the trend in the largest database of knowledge - the Internet.
So, I’m waiting to learn why are you spending your time on the internet.
