Amsterdam is one of the great small cities in the world. Beginning with its canals to its historical places and museums, Amsterdam is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe.
It has all the things just like a big city: culture, restaurants, good and quiet transport thanks to its canals, nightlife and a little road traffic. In Amsterdam your destination is never far away so you can get a bike for an authentic experience.
Museums are the main tourist attraction in Amsterdam. If you get there be sure to check out the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum. Of course there is more to see if you are here but Amsterdam has over fifty museums which attract millions of visitors each year so don’t miss them. Oh, and be sure to check out some Amsterdam Hotels. The hotels are just great and clean and there is a variety to choose from. Amsterdam has a vibrant and plenty of nightlife scene and it is famous for it. There are two main spots for nightlife: the Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. The most visited is Rembrantplein by the Dutchmen that are not from Amsterdam and the Leidseplein is more visited by the locals and the tourists. Also Amsterdam is a city of festivals. In average there are 140 festivals in Amsterdam. Famous festivals in Amsterdam are the events taking place during Koninginnedag (Queensday) and the Uitmarkt, so maybe you could arrive just in time to see one of them.
