Well, thecarconnection.com did it again! TheCarConnection.com’s spies have managed to get the first photos of the upcoming Honda’s hybrid-only model.

As many of you know, honda hybrid is a prototype that’s designed to take on the Toyota Prius. As you will be able to see from the pictures posted on the site (I still wonder how they did manage to capture them), the prototype looks Prius inspired all tough it looks a little bit larger than Toyota’s favorite.
Like its predecessor it is more aerodynamically styled, all tough the opinions are that it should have a makeover since it’s the end of 2008. Of course they have done massive wind tunnel testing, since that basic shape is a must for the least amount of air resistance to achieve the best possible fuel economy, after all it’s a honda hybrid, right?
It is expected to have an expected fuel economy is 50 – 70 mpg and a starting price under $18,500, that’s awesome, isn’t it. If everything goes as expected, Honda did it again!
The pictures that the spies took are pretty clear and sharp, taken at high resolution, so you can even see that the tires are Dunlop, thus the hypothesis that the car in the pictures could be the 2010 model Prius (as you will find in one comment on the post from the TheCarConnection.com’s site). Hopefully it will be the new Honda hybrid, and everything will go well for them and they will turn this prototype into a gem like they did before.
Any way, be sure to check out the nice pictures since TheCarConnection.com did it again!
