Paypal has accepted finally Romania among other 87 countries. The exact list of the new accepted countries can be found on digitaltrends.com. I have been waiting for a long time for this to happen. I was so glad when I found out about it. Finally the world’s biggest payment processor has arrived in Romania too.
But to my horror I discovered that we can only make payments and hold an amount of max. 100$ in our accounts. No one can send money to us, nor make payments to us. The verification process is slow and clumsy. Intimidate after an attempt to make an online payment a red flag is waved somewhere at paypal and everything is blocked until more verification is done. So, Romanians all over the world, if you have not had enough problems so far, enjoy the problems of Paypal too.
